Château-Musée de Lacroix Laval
The château de Lacroix-Laval is a sixteenth-century château, standing in the commune of Marcy-l'Étoile, in the Lyon metropolis. It replaced an old twelfth-century fortress. At the gates of the Lyon urban area, the Lacroix-Laval estate houses the château in the heart of a 115-hectare natural park of greenery.
The château's past, as much as that of the park, gives the estate a historical depth that anchors this space in a great diversity of uses: walking, relaxation and discovery of nature. The château houses exhibitions and spaces to visit. The park is much visited for family walks, in calm, a few minutes from Lyon.
