Château Malromé

Gironde, Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Château Malromé is a château and wine estate in the commune of Saint-André-du-Bois, in the Gironde, in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers. Built in the sixteenth century, it became in 1883 the property of Countess Adèle de Toulouse-Lautrec. It was one of the family homes of the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, who liked to stay there with his mother and who died there on 9 September 1901.

The wines, certified organic since 2023, are produced under the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. The château is closed to visits according to our information, but the estate is a place of memory for admirers of the artist, in the Entre-Deux-Mers landscape.
