Château de Vogüé
The castle of the marquises of Vogüé is a medieval fort refitted in the 17th century, overlooking a village listed among the most beautiful in France, on the banks of the Ardèche. It has historic rooms, a Romanesque chapel with stained glass by A. Munessier, a hanging garden and temporary exhibitions of visual art; eleven rooms can be visited.
The Château de Vogüé is a former fortress founded in the 12th century and altered in the 15th and 17th centuries. It still belongs to the Vogüé family and has been open to visitors since 1971. It has been partly registered as a historic monument since 1969.
