Château de Sedaiges
The Château de Sedaiges, in the Cantal, is a rare example of 19th-century Troubadour-style architecture. Lived in by the same family since time immemorial, it has kept spectacular interior décor.
The visit brings to life the daily organisation of a 19th-century château: salons, dining room, linen room, kitchen, bedroom and nursery are peopled with mannequins in period costume and many details, such as old tableware, toys and utensils.
The château also presents a permanent sound-and-light show around five listed Flemish tapestries, as well as an exhibition of dolls on the theme of 'Romeo and Juliet'.
