Château de Rosanbo
The château de Rosanbo, at Lanvellec, in the Côtes-d'Armor, is one of the most important châteaux in Brittany. Built on thousand-year-old foundations, it stands raised above the valley of the Bô, hence its name, meaning "rock on the Bô" in Breton. It forms a vast quadrilateral developed over six centuries and surrounded by an estate.
The seventeenth-century dovecote is perfectly preserved and has been listed as a historic monument since 1930: it holds hundreds of curved nesting holes where pairs of pigeons nested. The château has stayed in the same family since the seventeenth century. The visit lets you discover its interiors, its park and its library.
