Château de Kagenfels
The castle of Kagenfels, in the Obernai forest, in the Bas-Rhin, remained little known until recently. Only the remains of a pentagonal tower and a residence and a few sections of wall, lost in the vegetation, caught the eye of the most observant walkers.
Since 1999 it has been the subject of research to establish its true extent. Given the interest revealed by the ruin, the conservation of the remains uncovered or still standing has been carried out alongside the excavations.
