Château de Crémat

Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

The history of the Château de Crémat is closely linked to the Bellet vineyard. The château was built in 1906 on the remains of underground galleries dug by a Roman garrison at Li Plana du Mari to encourage the growing of vines and olives. These two 50-metre vaulted galleries, 4 to 10 metres deep, give the château the finest cellars in the Nice area.
