Château de Calberte

The history of the castle of Saint-Germain-de-Calberte, in the Lozère, is fairly short, as it was abandoned at the end of the 14th century. Its medieval structures have been well preserved, without the later alterations seen in castles lived in for longer.

Daniel Darnas, a goldsmith and chaser, exhibits his work in the 12th-century keep and presents his latest jewellery collection each year.
