Château de Bertholène
The 13th-century Château de Bertholène stands in a strategic position in the upper Aveyron valley. It was built on the border between the lands of the Count of Rodez and those of the Baron of Sévérac, and was notably a place where justice and arbitration were dispensed.
Besieged during the Wars of Religion, it was partly destroyed. The present façade has kept its Renaissance mullioned windows.
