Chaos de Bocca Rezza

The Bocca Rezza boulder field is in the Bonifatu forest, in the Haute-Corse, about a kilometre before the forest lodge that marks the start of the famous GR20. This maze of pink granite blocks with surprising shapes lies in the Bonifatu cirque, dominated by red porphyry needles over 2,000 metres high, through which the Figarella river winds with its clear pools.

From the boulder field, paths lead to the cirque and then to the well-known Spasimata footbridge, one of the emblematic passages of the GR20.
