Champagny en Vanoise
Champagny-en-Vanoise, in the Savoie, is one of the ten resorts of the La Plagne ski area, which has 225 km of runs between 1,250 and 3,250 metres. Champagny also has 22 km of cross-country trails and hiking paths. The Champagny-le-Haut site has a glacier museum and an artificial ice-climbing tower.
The commune lies at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, much of which is on its territory, and is reached through the valley of Champagny-le-Haut, a listed site. With Aime-la-Plagne and La Plagne Tarentaise, it forms part of the La Plagne winter sports resort.
