La Tania
La Tania is a Tarentaise resort in the Savoie, at about 1,400 metres between Méribel and Courchevel. It was created from 1990 by the commune of La Perrière, near the hamlet whose name it took, in preparation for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics. Since 2017 La Perrière has been part of the new commune of Courchevel.
The resort belongs to the Three Valleys, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world, to which it gives access on the Courchevel side. Its residences and chalets, built of wood and stone, are set in the forest with direct access to the slopes.
In summer the nearby Vanoise National Park and neighbouring valleys offer hiking and cycling in a wooded mountain setting.
