Centre Thermal de Vals les Bains
Vals-les-Bains, in the Ardèche, is a spa town known for its springs of cold sodium bicarbonate water, some of which have been used since the 17th century. There are more than a hundred springs, some with famous names such as La Camuse, La Constantine and La Rigolette.
The spa establishment, renovated in 2003, welcomes patients for state-approved cures. The resort is traditionally recognised for digestive and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, and has also been approved for rheumatology since 2020. Cures combine treatments and drinking cures.
The spa also has a fitness area with a pool, steam room and bubble baths, open to visitors who are not taking a cure. Reimbursement of spa cures has been maintained for 2026.
