ArchéoMusée Coriosolis (ex-Centre d'interprétation du patrimoine Coriosolis)

Côtes-d'Armor, Bretagne

The ArchéoMusée Coriosolis, formerly the Coriosolis heritage interpretation centre, is at Corseul, between Dinan and Plancoët, in a former school building at 2 rue César Mulon. It took its present name in spring 2023.

It tells the story of Corseul, capital of the Gallo-Roman city of the Coriosolites from the first century BC, and highlights the area's remains. Objects, ceramics, coins and jewellery are shown on a modern route using touch tablets, 3D reconstructions, models, a smelling station and games.

Virtual-reality headsets let you take part in a ceremony in the Temple of Mars, a second-century sanctuary, and a free augmented-reality app brings the ruins of the Haut-Bécherel site to life. Three archaeological sites can be discovered in Corseul, including the Clos-Mulon domus, a rich Gallo-Roman house, and the Monterfil urban district.

The museum also offers educational programmes for schools.
