Cascade de Struccia
The Struccia waterfall is at Carcheto-Brustico, a village in the Castagniccia, a mid-mountain area of the Haute-Corse known for its chestnut groves. The water falls about fifteen metres into an emerald pool where swimming is possible.
The path starts from the Baroque Church of Sainte-Marguerite in the village. It first passes the Onda fountain, and the waterfall appears about a hundred metres below. A staircase leads down to the pool, and a picnic table stands at the top of the steps. The walk is short and easy, and the waterfall is popular in summer, when it can be busy.
