Cascade du Rudlin
The Rudlin waterfall rushes in a single jet down a wall of Vosges granite covered with thick green moss, in a narrow gorge near Plainfaing, a village nestled between the Bonhomme and Schlucht passes. This site, still relatively unknown despite the beauty of its setting, appeals to hikers seeking natural curiosities away from the main tourist routes of the Route des Crêtes. The surrounding forest, mixing firs and beeches, reinforces the preserved atmosphere of this valley typical of the high Vosges.
