La cascade saut de la bourrique

Vosges, Grand Est

The Saut de la Bourrique waterfall is a fall of about ten metres in a deep gorge. The waterfall is named Saut de la Bourrique (the Donkey's Leap) after a legend of a donkey that saved its master and perished in the river. The waterfall is fed by the small Phény stream, a very pretty little watercourse in the undergrowth punctuated by several small stone bridges.
