Cascade de Pech de Bayle

Haute-Garonne, Occitanie

The Pech de Bayle waterfall is in a green valley in the commune of Gouaux-de-Luchon, in the Haute-Garonne, at the gateway to the Luchon area, a Pyrenean region known for its spas and many mountain torrents.

The water tumbles down a modest but steady rock step, an easy walking goal from the surrounding villages. Less busy than the main tourist sites of the Luchon valley, the area appeals to lovers of quiet mid-mountain walks.
