Cascade Du Pont D'Aptier
The Pont d'Aptier waterfall is in the Cantal, in the commune of Apchon, at the foot of the Cantal mountains. It is described as falling into a small basalt cirque, typical of the volcanic landscapes of this part of the Auvergne.
It is said to be easy to reach, near the bridge over the Véronne, and signposted from the D63 between Apchon and Collandres. A viewpoint is said to overlook it from the top of the cirque.
Online sources about this site are scarce: it is advisable to check with the local tourist office before going.
