Cascade du Moulin des Bouchoux
The Moulin des Bouchoux waterfall, also called the Moulin Dalloz waterfall, is a waterfall on the course of the Tacon, a tributary of the Bienne, in the commune of Les Bouchoux, in the Jura. South of Saint-Claude, the torrent crosses a limestone bar: the water gushes from a rocky notch and falls about 19.5 metres in a long ribbon, before breaking on the rocks.
A mill, now vanished, once used the water power there. The site has been classified by order of 4 January 1961 for its picturesque character, amid woods and clearings.
