Cascade de Salins
The fall of the Auze, near Salins, is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Haute Auvergne. Among all these waterfalls, the one at Salins is the most majestic in its dimensions and the most curious for its setting. This waterfall is formed by the waters of the Auze, which rises on the Salers plateau on the north-west slopes of the Col de Néronne at 1,300 m altitude.
30 metres high, it was known to the Druids and used to cure skin diseases. (Hiking path) It is illuminated from 15 June to 15 October from 10 pm to 1 am and during school holidays.
