Village des Métiers d'Antan et Musée Motobécane
Set in the former Motobécane factory at Saint-Quentin, in the Aisne, this attraction is aimed at all ages and showcases the history and heritage of France. Its size and realism make it exceptional: it is a life-size reconstruction with restored old shopfronts.
Visitors stroll through the cobbled lanes and workshops of the village, meeting the clockmaker, saddler, mattress maker, potter, basket maker and others. Around a corner they find forgotten bicycles, a collection of horse-drawn carriages and rare or unusual objects, in a warm 19th-century atmosphere.
The museum, the only Motobécane museum in France, presents a collection showing the evolution of the bicycles and motorcycles that made the brand famous.
