Valmorel

Valmorel la Belle comprises 150 km of alpine ski pistes and 20 km of Nordic ski trails, between 1,270 m and 2,550 m altitude. The whole is served by 49 ski lifts, including 30 drag lifts, 17 chairlifts and 2 gondolas. In summer, many activities are possible, notably hiking, paragliding and Segway rides.

Valmorel is a winter sports resort of the Tarentaise valley, inaugurated in 1976, in the communes of Les Avanchers-Valmorel and La Léchère. Its area is linked to that of Saint-François-Longchamp in Maurienne.
