Tour de Ratières
Perched on a mound, the Tour de Ratières, in the Drôme, is the remnant of a 14th-century octagonal keep whose present ground floor was probably a cellar or a prison. The building was entered on the first floor, where the remains of a fireplace can still be seen.
The estate has a garden designed by Paolo Tonini, created in 1993 and recognised as part of the Rhône-Alpes heritage. Decorated with contemporary sculptures (César, Clavé and others), it leads through several gardens: a rose walk, a medieval garden, a rose garden, a perennial garden and an Italian garden.
