Sainte Foy Tarentaise

Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, in Savoie, lies in the heart of the renowned Tarentaise ski areas, away from the bustle of the big resorts. It has a rich traditional architectural heritage, with a hamlet listed as a historic monument, houses with columns, chapels and chalets of stone, wood and stone slabs. Its hamlets, with narrow lanes, hide a few good restaurants.

Beyond its ski area, the resort is popular with lovers of wild skiing, with many forest routes and off-piste sectors. Heli-skiing gives access to the Ruitor glacier in Italy, and the north face of the Fogliettaz is a well-known route. The ski area, of moderate size, also suits families, and spas complete the offer.
