La Rosière
La Rosière, in Savoie, lies in the heart of the Haute-Tarentaise, at 1,850 metres, on a south-facing balcony. The resort was built in keeping with traditional mountain architecture.
Linked to La Thuile in Italy, it shares the Espace San Bernardo, an international ski area of about 160 km of runs. The French side enjoys plenty of sunshine, while the more north-facing Italian side has good snow. The area suits every kind of snow sport, from easy runs to off-piste and heli-skiing, between Mont Blanc and the valleys, and blends Savoyard and Aosta Valley traditions.
