Saint-Véran
Reachable by road for barely more than a century, you enter the town made up of several quarters by the road below, and discover the oldest buildings, wooden chalets, fine galleries of hayloft barns, a well, a bread oven. The houses are isolated from one another, which prevented fires from spreading to the whole hamlet. The church has a very fine porch with columns supported by lions. The village is lively, many craft shops offer a fine choice of local objects. You can also climb to the chapel of Notre-Dame de Clausis from where the view in fine weather is splendid.
