Planet Ocean Montpellier

Planet Ocean Montpellier, in the Hérault, combines the former Mare Nostrum aquarium and the Galilée planetarium. The visit begins with the world ocean: immersive displays and giant aquariums present more than 400 species. There is also a storm-at-sea simulator, a touch pool and a virtual encounter with sea lions.

The second part is devoted to the universe. Visitors can step into the shoes of an astronaut, see themselves in infrared, follow an expedition to the surface of the Sun or view the Earth from the cupola of the International Space Station.
