Parc zoologique de Montpellier
With its 80 hectares, the Lunaret zoological park in Montpellier is today the largest green space in the city and the second largest zoological park in France! It is the favourite walking place of Montpellier people. The Montpellier zoo has 52 mammal species, 30 bird species, 15 reptile species: in all, more than 1,350 animals and 141 animal species, spread over 2 ponds and 52 enclosures most of which are among the largest in Europe.
