Parc Monceau
The Parc Monceau, in Paris, is a pleasure garden of just over 8 hectares, next to the Musée Cernuschi. Formerly owned by the Duke of Chartres, it is made up of follies: a Swiss farm, a pagoda, a pyramid, feudal ruins, a Roman temple and winding paths.
There are also statues of famous writers and painters. The park is surrounded by luxurious private mansions. Claude Monet painted it in 1876.
