Parc du Reynou

Haute-Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine

The Parc Zoo du Reynou is a zoological and landscape park at Le Vigen, a few kilometres from Limoges, in the Haute-Vienne. It surrounds a 19th-century château, on an estate whose garden dates back to the 18th century and whose landscapes change colour with the seasons.

The animals, from several continents, live in large spaces, often in semi-freedom, in major sectors: African, Asian and American plains, an Australian sector, a European sector and a mini-farm. Visitors can see snow leopards, polar bears, tigers, otters and giraffes, among others.

The walking circuit is long and takes several hours, or even a whole day to see everything. The park also offers guided tours and a 'keeper for a day' experience to discover the job from the inside.
