The Maison de la Baie de Somme is a discovery space at Lanchères, at the Hourdel crossroads, at the southern tip of the Bay of Somme estuary. It is the place where you can understand the area before setting off to explore it.

Several rooms present the estuary, which is not a bay in the strict sense, the birds that live there or stop over during migrations, as well as the trades and passions of the region's inhabitants. The visit suits families as well as those curious about nature and ornithology who wish to complete their outings in the field.

Guided visits, events and exhibitions are offered during the opening period. The Bay of Somme, a major natural site, also shelters other bird-watching places, including the Marquenterre ornithological park.
