Pointe du Hourdel

Somme, Hauts-de-France

A small fishing port at the far south of the Somme estuary, the Pointe du Hourdel remains one of the last bastions of fishing on the Picardy coast. The Pointe du Hourdel offers one of the finest views over the Bay of Somme.

Between the Pointe du Hourdel and Cayeux-sur-Mer, the "white road", running along the coast, opens its course among the dunes, regularly silted up with sand, and then takes on the tint that gave it its name.
