Les Vedettes Panoramiques du Saut du doubs

The Saut du Doubs is a waterfall 27 metres high. The Vedettes panoramiques offer a way to discover the meanders, gorges and basins of the Doubs aboard hybrid solar-electric boats.

From the centre of Villers-le-Lac, near the bridge, narrated cruises run from Easter to All Saints' Day. The 14 km round trip passes through grand scenery, with a stop at the Saut du Doubs for a walk; allow about two hours.

Since 2009 the boats Vénus and Sauconna have used solar-electric propulsion, quieter and kinder to wildlife and local residents; the company has received an ecotourism label. Dining cruises are also offered, and the boarding car park has a service area for motorhomes.
