Les fortifications de Vauban

The old town fortified by Vauban, also called the "Cité Vauban" or "Gargouille", is a walking place prized by visitors. It is already, through its fortifications and picturesque architecture, a true work of art, but its enclosure also hides many treasures: churches, architectural elements, fountains, sundials, etc. You can discover them around the bend of lanes and, going round the ramparts, you will enjoy magnificent viewpoints over the surrounding valleys.
