Le Saut du Capelan (Nartuby)
La Motte, in the Var, is watered by the Nartuby and the Endre, at the foot of Mont Peyblou. The Saut du Capelan is a waterfall about 30 metres high formed by the Nartuby.
The spot is signposted from the village. Leave the car at the end of the tarmac road; a dirt track then leads to the waterfall in about ten minutes. The walk crosses vineyards, in countryside that is especially pretty in autumn, when the leaves change colour.
