La chute du Grand Baou
The Grand Baou falls are in the Var, in the commune of Le Val, near Carcès, among vineyards along the Ribeirotte river. It is a fall of about seven metres into a pool of clear water.
The site is private property that its owner long opened to the public for swimming. According to the latest information, including the regional tourist office listing updated in 2026, it is now closed and access to the waterfall is forbidden. It is best to check with the tourist office before going.
