Le Cerza
Created in 1986 by the brothers Patrick and Thierry Jardin in the Pays d'Auge, the Cerza zoological park extends over several tens of hectares and hosts about 1,500 animals belonging to more than 120 species from around the world. Giraffes, tigers, rhinoceroses, lions and many other animals live there in semi-freedom, notably along the safari little-train route. It is today the largest zoological park in Normandy and one of the ten most important in France.
Cerza, Centre d'étude et de reproduction zoologique augeron, also called the Lisieux zoological park, is a zoological park in Normandy, in the Calvados, in the commune of Hermival-les-Vaux, near Lisieux. Created in 1986, it hosts various animal species over 80 hectares.
