La Volerie des Aigles
La Volerie des Aigles is set in the ruins of the medieval castle of Kintzheim, in the Bas-Rhin, on top of a fir-covered hill close to Haut-Koenigsbourg and the wine route.
It presents large birds of prey from all over the world in flight, high in the sky or just centimetres from the audience. The show also aims to raise public awareness of their protection. Golden eagles, bald eagles, fish eagles, tawny eagles, condors, Egyptian vultures, griffon vultures and several species of falcon breed in the site's breeding centre.
