Cigoland
Cigoland is a leisure and animal park at Kintzheim, in the Bas-Rhin, at the foot of the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg, between Sélestat and central Alsace. It is devoted to the white stork, emblem of the region.
The park has about twenty rides designed mainly for young children, including the Stork Monorail and the Mine Train. It is also home to more than twenty animal species, including storks, peacocks, llamas, ponies, wallabies, dwarf goats and black sheep.
On site there is a 44-room hotel, a restaurant and an Alsatian-style inn, so a visit can become a short stay. The park is close to the A35 motorway and opens in season, from spring to early autumn.
