La Cascade de la Biche
This waterfall of about thirty metres is in the heart of the Chaudefour valley nature reserve, an ancient glacial cirque of the Sancy massif, in the commune of Chambon-sur-Lac. Protected since 1991, the reserve is discovered on foot only, via a marked circuit of two to three hours from the Maison de la Réserve. The Cascade de la Biche marks one of the highlights of this hike, amid remarkable flora and fauna.
