Jardin des Olfacties
The Jardin des Olfacties, in the Vendée, is devoted to scented plants. It offers an original walk, whether for a cultural visit or for relaxation, in a many-sided world of plants.
Recognised in 1999 as a 'Botanical Garden of France and French-speaking Countries', it presents nearly 3,500 varieties in a succession of exotic settings: a priest's garden, a tropical valley, the 'rooms of hell' and a Japanese garden. Allow about two hours to see it all. Exhibitions and events complement the visit.
