Grand Tourmalet Bagnères-Campan- La
The Grand Tourmalet ski area (Barèges-La Mongie) is the largest in the French Pyrenees, with 69 runs and 39 lifts. It extends over nearly 100 km and rises to 2,500 metres.
The area caters for all snow lovers: downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowscooting and freestyle, with its 'Park des Étoiles'. Beginners have a dedicated learning area with gentle slopes. The ski area has two resorts on either side of the legendary Col du Tourmalet: La Mongie, with all the facilities of a ski-in ski-out resort, and Barèges, a traditional Pyrenean village.
