France Miniature

France Miniature is a park near Paris, at Élancourt, in the Yvelines, open since 1991. Many French monuments and sites are reproduced there in miniature, over five hectares laid out in the shape of a map of France, with pools where the seas and oceans around the country lie and an island of Corsica (whose distance from France Miniature's "coast" is not to scale). The park is criss-crossed by many miniature railway lines on which trains made of models of SNCF rolling stock (TGV, Corail trains…) run. Since 2004, the park has had a self-service attractions area reserved for young children.
