FORMEO Complexe Aquatique du Pays de Falaise
Forméo is the aquatic complex of the Pays de Falaise community of communes, in the Calvados. It is on the Rue Maurice Nicolas in Falaise, birthplace of William the Conqueror.
It offers sports and leisure pools, including a multi-lane slide, a slide, a wave pool and a counter-current river. There is also a fitness area with cardio and weight training rooms, and a relaxation area with spa, steam room and sauna. Aqua aerobics and swimming lessons are organised.
The aquatic centre is the starting point of a greenway linking Falaise to Damblainville, laid out along about seven kilometres of the former Falaise-Couliboeuf railway line. Services may change; the community of communes website has up-to-date information.
