Pain de sucre
In the commune of Saint-Omer, in the Calvados, the Route des Crêtes overlooks the Orne valley in the heart of the Suisse Normande. It offers a fine view of the Pain de Sucre, a peak rising to 171 metres, as well as the Rochers de la Houle which reach 240 metres. Followed by the GR36, this rocky ridge is also a favourite take-off site for paragliders, with a panorama of the town of Clécy and the meanders of the Orne.
