Ferme du Petit Mont
The Ferme du Petit Mont is an educational farm at the hamlet of Petit Mont, in Bellevaux, in the Haute-Savoie Chablais. It produces goat's cheese and offers a visit centred on farm life, the animals and the processing of milk.
Visitors discover the farm animals, notably the goats, and can follow workshops around milk, cheese, farming and animal care. Activities offered include donkey walks, making syrup or jam from garden plants, a day as an "animal keeper", treasure hunts, a farm snack or even an escape game. Visits are adapted to each person's level, with simple vocabulary.
The farm sells its products: goat's cheeses, charcuterie, jams and dried plants. It welcomes groups, school classes and children's birthdays, and also offers unusual accommodation on site. It is an ideal family stop to understand the farmer's trade in the mountains.
