Parc animalier de Merlet

Merlet is a place called at 1,563 m altitude, on the heights of the commune of Les Houches (Haute-Savoie), in the Aiguilles Rouges massif. A wildlife park is located there. The park covers an area of 20 hectares. You meet ibex, chamois, mouflon, fallow deer, red deer, llamas, marmots. These animals roam freely in the park and can be approached easily. It is open from 1 May to 30 September. The park is a fine tree-planted place with a view of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix valley.
