Exoticamis
Exoticamis is a small zoological park in the Tarn, about a quarter of an hour from Albi. It works as a refuge: its residents come from abandonments, donations, official placements or transfers between zoos.
Reptiles are a highlight, with an indoor area housing snakes, lizards, caimans, chameleons and tortoises, and a nocturnal area where bats and reptiles can be observed. Outdoors, the visit reveals lemurs, meerkats, marmosets, parrots, rheas and farm animals.
The route is on foot, accessible to all, and takes about an hour to an hour and a half. A picnic area is available. It is a simple, pleasant outing for families with young children, on a human scale.
