Domaine des Saveurs - Les Planons (ex-Domaine des Planons)

The Domaine des Planons, at Saint-Cyr-sur-Menthon in the Ain, formerly the departmental museum of the Bresse, occupies an authentic 16th-century Bresse farmhouse, recognisable by its decorative Saracen chimney and wooden gallery. The farm, still working, introduces the traditional rearing of Bresse poultry, the only French poultry with an AOC.

Around the farm, exhibitions and activities bring back the crafts, skills and rural way of life of the old Bresse, a lively insight into the farming heritage of a region renowned for its food.
